It's sharp, it's rust resistant, and is just what anyone who spends their days in the wood needs to get the job done quick. With its full tang, high carbon steel blade and full length handle for extra leverage, this machete will work well through tough bark, vines or thick brush effortlessly. But its untouchable durability doesn't stop at the steel...it feeds off modern technology too so you'll be able to get through any job that might cross your path! The blade also features a rubberized grip which ensures you can keep your hand in place while cutting anything from brush and weeds, to saplings and thick vines. But if all of that weren't enough already the lanyard is made out of braided military spec 550 paracord - meaning it's one hell of an adaptable tool! The blade on our Kukri Machete is full tang, meaning the steel runs all the way THROUGH the handle of the knife. In other words the steel doesn't just stop at the handle. Being full tang makes the machete MUCH stronger and more durable. The blade for this Machete is made from High Carbon Steel with a black surface finish and comes out of the box nice and sharp. Hard, sharp AND durable - This blade is ready to blaze a path as soon as you take it out of the box. What good is a tool if it doesn't feel comfortable in your hand? Answer? - It's not. That's why we wanted to make sure to provide you with both a comfortable and functional handle. It is made of a hard plastic composite and a rubberized grip, making it strong and easy to hold on to. The perfect "Cherry on Top" feature we've included is a paracord wrist lanyard. Not only is the lanyard functional as it wont let your Machete go flying off into the jungle if you let it go, but it also can provide you with yards of cordage incase you find yourself in a survival situation. Our tough nylon sheath will keep your new Kukri Machete nice and protected when it is not in use. It is made of a thick nylon material, over stitched, and secured with rivets for an ultimate layer of durability. The Sheath secures shut with a snap strap and opens up to the bend of the blade so it is easy to take in and out. One thing that sets WEYLAND apart from other Outdoor Company's is we like to make as many of our products MOLLE compatible. With that in mind, we made sure to add webbing to the back of the Machete Sheath with MOLLE specs so it can fit your various applications. We love the idea of being able to have the option of storing items on the OUTSIDE of your bag for easier access and so they aren't taking up room INSIDE your bag.
