Tips for Use and Care To ensure a full and proper seal during transport, push the tab down all the way until it is flush against the lid. When opening, press down on tab to engage lock notch to prevent it from hitting your nose tip while drinking. When refilling tumbler with straw already inserted, keep tab open to vent or remove straw before pressing down on lid. If tab is closed, fluid may squirt out of straw due to vacuum seal. The lid will no longer be leak-proof when the straw is inserted into center vent plug hole but splashing will be minimal. The straw can be inserted in either opening on the 30oz size lids but the center hole offers the most splash control. All items are top rack dishwasher safe.
