The battery cover is located in the back of the clock towards the bottom and it is very easy to remove and return. The AA battery pops in nicely and is able to last over 6 months and will be still going strong. That button is nicely placed on the upper right-hand front corner, and when the alarm sounds, it’s also the button for a snooze delay. Place this clock in a bright light, the fluorescent hour and minute handscan can lit for half an hour.
