Once you set a time and count down to 0000 the time initially set will stay in memory for use until next time. This is great for repeated tasks. Models eT-23 & eT-78 are basically identical inside except that the 23 is a 99-minute timer and only has one volume setting. The 78 has the option of 99 min or 99 hr., a Loud 80dB mellow mid-tone beep or a softer mellow 72dB beep for when you are in close proximity and don't want to be startled or switch to mute. Both have auto shut-off feature that turns the timer off after being idle for 3 min. RESET/CLEAR: Press the 2 left buttons simultaneously and timer will clear/reset to 0000. COUNTUP: Reset/Clear to 0000 then press START COUNTDOWN: Reset/Clear to 0000 then enter a time and press START Press and hold any button to fast forward to your destination. All our timers have an auto memory function. If you like to boil 3 min. eggs every morning, just set the countdown once and when the beeper goes off the timer will then shut itself off after 3 min.
